Doctors, nurses and other medical professionals are our “front line” in the fight against COVID-19. They put themselves at risk each day working directly with patients in need of medical care.
Mortgage lenders are also considered Essential Businesses as Critical Financial Services Firms. However, we have been fortunate in that technology has allowed us to work virtually and avoid most direct contact with others.
Doctors, nurses and medical workers don’t have that luxury.
That’s why we bought lunch for 16 locations of the Ochsner Hospital team throughout metro New Orleans which included 134 front-line nurses.
We want to express just how much we appreciate the work our medical professionals always do for this community, especially during critical times like these.
And we’re reminded of a simple, but powerful statement from Mother Theresa:
If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.
